The muddy water she stepped through, The darkened skies is all she knew, She believed that rain was all that could fall, From heaven she heard the angels last call, For how could it be that her time had come, Her mother had just left and she was so young, Time and patience had grown weak, For prayers were all she knew to speak, Now walking softly on grass, Another tombstone she did pass, The words were never spoken of her fight, In this age a disease just was not right, Kneeling at the weathered grave, She wept as she thought of how her mother was so brave, To protect her daughter from what happened to her, Even though a common fait was all to sure, So she laid down beside her mothers resting place, One last tear trickled across her face, She looked to sky and asked god why, Make the diesease AIDS and let your children die

May God bless your efforts and continue to use you as good instuments of caring, love and education in the lives of others. I am one of the coordinators of Health Programs at Brooklyn College in the USA. HIV/AIDS Awareness, is one of the programs that we operate and care about, deeply. Please contact me ASAP. I would like to do some fund-raising for JAS, during our W/AIDS month. Perhaps we could even share some ideas for promotion and fund-raising. Who knows what the possibilities are when we collaborate? Looking forward to hearing from you and Keep up the good work. Sincerely, Jean

Douglas Adams said: Time, we know, is relative. You can travel light years through the stars and back, and if you do it at the speed of light then, when you return, you may have aged mere seconds while your twin brother or sister will have aged twenty, thirty, forty or however many years it is, depending on how far you traveled. This will come to you as a profound shock, particularly if you didn't know you had a twin brother or sister.

I will be in Ocho Rios 11/2-18/2. I am a Family Physician in Chicago and ran across this website while doing some research. As I am of Jamaican descent I am very interested in your organization's mission and would like to volunteer my resources in any capacity that I can be of service. My local # (876) 827-0385. Perhaps I will have an opportunity to meet someone from your Ochie chapter while I am there.

A chilly hello to all! Today is COLD and I was reminded of Ian and Howard during their visit here! I know you both surely miss the lovely Winter in Halifax. I still have visions of Howard, playing in the snow! Wish you were here (or, rather, I wish I was THERE! Love to All! Ned

i have found your site to be very informative. I was never really concern about HIV and the effects it has on people who have the disease and their families and friends. You have definetly opened my eyes to the realities of the disease and i will encourage others to visit the site as well. Thank you and God bless you for the work you do.
